WHO IS Sam SAMPLE

SAM is a 26 year old based out of NYC. She WAS BORN AND RAISED in GEORGIA, with her family roots hailing from Louisiana. Born Lindsey Sample and nicknamed Lindsey “SAM” Sample in her late teens (via her last name… yes that is her real last name!), the nickname stuck when she made her move north to new york in 2016.

While music was always a part of her life, IT TOOK A BACK BURNER TO her educational and professional interests in neuroscience and data science, and the intersection of these in her career at a fortune 500 company. GooD southern girls thrive in corporate!

Sam sang throughout her life in various shows, groups, and jazz bands and has been writing songs privately for over 10 years. in 2023 she STARTED recording her originalS, recorded primarily in her APARTMENT and with the help of other independent artists AND PRODUCERS, with the exception of a couple songs recorded at bear creek studio. Sam is excited to release her independently funded and produced debut album in FALL 2024.
